Can I Remove a Joint Customer From My Account?

We recognise that on rare occasions a customer may wish to make changes and be removed from a safe deposit box, in the first instance you should send an email requesting the removal of your name and the reason. We will consider your request and if it is accepted, you will be asked to make an appointment with one of the other persons who jointly own the safe deposit box.

A document of variation will be completed for which a fee of $60.00 will be payable on the day of the appointment, prior to completing the variation. MSD is under no obligation to allow the removal of any name and may refuse for reasons of Security and Compliance.

No customer may remove another customer or themselves from any safe deposit box without the permission of one of the joint person(s) to the account and without the authorisation of Monitronic Safe Deposits Limited.
